About Poverty Sux
Who we are
Poverty Sux is an independent gold market dashboard run by Poverty Sux International, LLC. It was built by a gold trader for traders who want one honest, consistent hourly read of the XAUUSD chart instead of a dozen conflicting opinions, and who want that read in a form their own software can use.
What we publish
- An hourly technical summary on six timeframes, from 12 moving averages and 12 indicators.
- Pivot points in five methods, support and resistance, targets and the level where the view stops working.
- A written outlook that weighs the chart against the dollar, yields, the Federal Reserve, flows, positioning and the calendar.
- A free machine-readable signal feed for MetaTrader 4 Expert Advisors.
Method and data
Readings are calculated from COMEX gold futures bars (delayed about 10 minutes) and converted to approximate spot using the median measured gap between futures and a live spot quote. Indicator rules approximate common public conventions and are cross-checked against a major public technical summary each hour; small differences are normal. Known limits are listed on the fundamentals and sentiment page every hour.
